Awarded by the players to a fellow band member who has made an outstanding contribution towards Crawley Millennium Concert Band.

Despite not having a car he very rarely misses any rehearsals or jobs. (In fact the only job I can think he missed was when his daughter got married!) Richard is always the first to volunteer to lend a hand to the work that needs to be done to keep us running and has been an asset to CMCB since the very beginning. This has obviously been recognised by the other members of the band this year.

Chairman’s Cup

Awarded by the Chairman to a member of the band in recognition of their support of Crawley Millennium Concert Band.

This years winner works tirelessly not only for the band but also at home. They have a particularly busy time with their family but despite this they spend a considerable amount of their precious time organising and contributing greatly to CMCB. Most of you will not realise but I hope do appreciate how much this person does for you all! My award this year goes of course to Mary Sawyer.
